Above is a photo of texture in work, the sun is causing the ridges to be more prominent and powerful, showing how texture is used.

The sunrise has created the formal element texture among the rocks bellow.

This ally is actually being brung to life in a creepy eerie way by the formal element texture.

The foot prints have left ridges and marks in the sand which are being enhanced by the sun, the formal element texture is clearly shown here.

My Definition: Texture is the way a light (primarily the sun) lays across a surface, whether its ridged and bumpy or smooth and silk.
