Mid Project Evaluation

Evaluation

So far in photography we have looked at a range of formal elements, every session (permitting the weather) we have scoured the campus and around the town for suitable images based on the formal element given in that session.

So far we have looked at lines, colour, patterns, depth, form, texture, reflection, movement and tone, we have briefly looked into shape but have no gone and taken photos. While doing these over the past few weeks we have also been given the tasks of creating a mind map, a discussion post and artist logs.

While looking into the formal elements we have created a work diary, definition post, image bank and straight image post for each element, this way we get a deeper insight on the element, where we have done well and where we could improve our work.

These elements are the base of the photography course, you need to learn how to take photos before we are given a project or idea to photograph.

Photography has been such a fun subject over the past few weeks, although it has been tough trying to meet all the deadlines. I have had a great time doing photography and I am really looking forward to the rest of the year.
